Bought the basic package to be able to do practice tests but so far have only been able to use it once or twice as the website doesn't work. Keeps saying 'error establishing a database connection'. have tried from my laptop and phone and keep getting same message. what a waste of money. My tests are tomorrow and I have been unable to practice. Also can't find any contact details to ask for a refund!!
I was initially very pessimistic about signing up to this service and receiving one-to-one maths tuition, as I do not exaggerate when I say I was hopeless! But...thanks to Dave I’ve gone from zero to 360 in no time and I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made. Dave has been incredibly diligent and patient. Always there when needed.
I now love maths and no longer fear it. I feel indebted.
Our tutor, Ben was friendly and helpful and explained specific areas in more detail and shown alternate ways to problem solving. This enabled us to complete tasks more quickly, within the allocated time frame. His input and help has been invaluable and without his help, passing the skills test may not of been possible.
An exemplary tutor, helping mold and design the next generation of teachers.
I only had 1 lesson with QTS online. I was quite sceptical about having a Skype teacher. Although when I met Lidiya my doubts were quickly repressed! Lidiya has extensive knowledge of the qts material and was able to pin point the areas I needed to work on which we tackled together through our hour session.
If your need more confidence going into your numeracy test then I would recommend some sessions with Lidiya:)

My personal experience with QTS tutor (Zoe Gumm) was absolutely amazing she’s so patient and understanding, the skills I have learnt from Zoe are quick and easy. If it wasn’t for Zoe I don’t think I would have ever passed my numeracy skills test. Zoe definitely deserves a lot more than 5 stars. Thank you for all your help.

I was very nervous about taking the numeracy test but Zoe was brilliant. I found her to be so supportive and inspirational, she made me believe I could take and pass the test. Zoe is a great teacher who explains the methods she uses so clearly and in a way even I understood. I could not have passed this test without you, so a heartfelt thank you, Zoe. So if you are struggling with the maths test definitely book a few sessions with Zoe and you will sail through it!

Had a lovely lady called Zoe who was soo supportive, sent lots of worksheets which was really useful and that pushed me. Had a session a day before my test and it was very useful! The times of the tutorials were convenient for my working hours. Really positive experience

My tutor Ben was great! I was worried he’d judge me & think I was awful at numerical reasoning, but he made me feel relaxed & ready to learn. Much better scores with his help than previous attempts. I would definitely recommend him as I even got the job I was applying for!! Much Thanks Ben..

I'm so glad that I contacted QTS Maths tutor.
I had 2 weeks to pass both my professional skills test in numeracy and my maths GCSE equivalency test, in order to stay on my teaching course. Previous to contacting the company I was waking up in the middle of the night overwhelmed by the amount of work I had to do.
I was assigned a lovely tutor, Zoe Gumm, who from the first point of contact assured me that all would be fine. Zoe was amazing, encouraging and boosted my confidence. I had 4 lessons with Zoe; she was always in touch to see how I was getting along, sent plenty of homework to underpin the lessons and was available to ask questions outside of the tutorials. Zoe was a miracle worker....I absolutely couldn't have done it without her. Thank you Zoe!!

I would definitely recommend!! I was only able to have one session before my test the next day but my tutor Stella was excellent! She quickly identified my strengths and weaknesses and tailored the session to what I needed most - gave lots of practise with easy explanations and lots of support.

I'm not sure where i should start as my journey started a while ago.
Firstly I would like to review a special QTS maths Tutor ZOE GUMM who spent a year helping me pass my numeracy skills test. Which i finally passed TODAY.
Zoe not only helped me pass but from the very beginning identified my lack of self confidence which was preventing me from passing and offered various ways to surpass my fear and believe that i was more than capable.
Over the year i have tried to pass independently and failed more times than i care to admit!
I was seriously considering other routes and even careres!
I've always hated maths and tried my best to avoid it. But Zoe has convinced me there's nothing to fear and maths isn't really that bad!
I honestly asked so many questions and probably alot of them were the same questions!!! I can't imagine how frustrating it would have been at times for her!
I have dyslexia and Zoe was always able to find new ways for me to remember methods. Although i wasn't getting extra time in the test Zoe helped my use the time i had effectively.
When i reflect back Zoe has a calming disposition which if your a nervous wreck like me (when it comes to maths) it is necessary. This was very much true when my computer wasn't connecting to the internet and i ended up losing 1hour of the 3 hours i booked with Zoe! (I can never forget those 3 sessions) we had 30 mins of 1hr and 30 mins of another. Either the computer or internet wasn't working or i would forget i had a session and missed half of the lesson. But Zoe was able to improvise and make the most of the 30 mins!
No matter how many times i told Zoe i had failed a test she was always positive and rational. I honestly can't thank Zoe and QTS maths tutor for helping me realise i can do maths! And hard work pays off! ....eventually.
Thankyou for not abandoning me on this journey!
Because of Zoe i've transformed from being negative and self wallowing to positive and resilient.

I would definitely recommend QTS maths tutor!!!! No matter how much I revised I kept failing the exam (over a 2 month period) and then I decided to get a tutor.i was then allocated a tutor named Stella. Not only did she help me understand the methodology behind the maths she was supportive throughout, even after my 3 sessions. I became very disheartened at times and she was an amazing support and helped boost my confidence in believing i could do it. If I didn’t understand something she was able to teach me quick effective techniques where I was able to remember and apply it to different questions. She responds quickly and efficient. I passed my exam within a week and half of being tutored!!She is truly an amazing tutor!!!!!! Definitely recommend!!!!!

I got into contact with Zoë Gumm after failing my QTS numeracy skills test thrice. We took certain steps in allowing me to overcome the issues I was facing. She taught me short methods in which I was able to answer mental arithmetic questions without hesitation. The short methods also allowed me to develop further understanding of the written questions. I passed on my fourth attempt and this wouldn't have been possible without help of Zoë. I would recommend QTS Maths tutor to whoever is struggling.
